About Labfer Ltd
Labfer Ltd. is spin-out company from the Ural State University in Ekaterinburg, Russia. The business of Labfer Ltd. is sale and development of nonlinear-optical elements for wavelength conversion of laser light in wide frequency range from violet to infra-red. It includes manufacturing of the low-cost elements for blue and green light sources using frequency doubling of diode and DPSS lasers. The elements are based on periodically poled lithium niobate single crystals.
We have developed the original patent technology of the periodic micro- and nanodomain structuring in MgO doped LN (LN:MgO) which allows to achieve for nanosecond pulse laser:
a) efficiency about 70% for conversion from 1064 nm to 532 nm,
b) average output more than 10 W for single pass SHG in crystal 5 mm long and 1 mm thick with QPM temperature 30 – 80oC on request.
Labfer Ltd. posesses the production chain to manufacture complete PPMgO:LN elements with AR coating from lithium niobate wafers.
The key expertise of Labfer Ltd. is the precise micro- and nanoscale domain patterning in nonlinear ferroelectric single crystals which is performed by proprietary technology.
